As part of the Women’s Board project, UMPT hosted a visit from representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan (MIA).

The meeting was attended by female employees from the production department, office divisions, as well as representatives of contracting organizations.

During the event, officials responsible for women's affairs and leading specialists from the Cybercrime Department gave presentations. They informed participants about current issues related to cybersecurity, social protection, and measures to prevent violence against women.

Special attention was given to explaining the proper course of action in cases of threats or incidents of physical violence — including which organizations to contact, how to obtain legal assistance, and where to report such incidents.

At the end of the meeting, participants had the opportunity to ask their questions and receive direct responses from MIA specialists.
