UMPT at the Technovation Girls Uzbekistan Program event

On May 31, Tashkent hosted the final festive event of the Technovation Girls Uzbekistan program, which unites girls from all over the Republic and inspires them to solve socially significant problems in their communities using technology. In 2025, the girls' teams developed 88 social applications aimed at solving the problems of ecology, gender equality and inclusion in Uzbekistan.

As part of the partnership in the field of ecology, Uz Auto Motors Powertrain JSC noted the project of the team “Let's go, Girls!”from Namangan. The girls have developed the “Sharing is Caring” application, which helps to combat excessive consumption and lack of resources, as well as reduces waste generation. The team was presented with memorable gifts from UMPT.

*Technovation Girsl is the largest international technology competition for girls that takes place annually in 100+ countries around the world, and in Uzbekistan since 2016. The goal of the project is to develop critical thinking, entrepreneurship and programming skills among girls (8-18 years old).
