My career path began at General Motors Powertrain – Uzbekistan, where I started as a CNC machine operator. Over time, I gained experience in the Global Manufacturing System (GMS), acquired technical knowledge, participated in various leadership development programs, and worked on process improvement through the KAIZEN methodology.
Throughout my journey, I took part in several major projects, went through multiple rotations, and today I serve as the Deputy Production Manager at UMPT.
What were your fears?
My biggest fear was not living up to the expectations of my colleagues when transitioning to a new role. I worked hard on myself to deliver more than what was expected of me. I was fortunate to have people around me who supported me in making the right decisions and contributed to my professional and personal growth.
What makes the company different from others?
The biggest difference is the successfully adapted General Motors corporate culture, which enabled the implementation of modern management and production methods. Additionally, our company places a strong emphasis on employee development.
For example, in 2015, I went to France for training in machine tool maintenance, and in 2017, I received training in CNC programming in Moscow.
Our company creates all the conditions necessary for employees to perform their work effectively.
What is the secret to success?
The secret lies in continuous improvement, effective teamwork, and having a supportive and close-knit team.
