On June 5, UMPT hosted a solemn event dedicated to World Environment Day. During the event, the results of the environmental week were summed up, achievements in the field of environmental protection were demonstrated and the merits of eco-activists were noted.
Special attention was paid to the results of the competition announced during the year. Environmental engineer Elmira Sharipova spoke about UMPT's waste management system and presented projects on resource reuse.

The results of the campaign "How can I reduce the formation of plastic waste?" were presented, in which the plant's employees created videos aimed at reducing plastic waste.
The winner of the Bird Feeder and Birdhouse competition was also announced.: Create with love and care for nature", the participants of which received memorable gifts from the company's management. Special recognition was also given to the winners of the "Photos and Videos on Biodiversity at our Plant" contest, who demonstrated amazingly beautiful shots of nature on the territory of the enterprise.

Among the guests were representatives of the makhalla committee “Kukhna Kumaryk”, representatives of the Sergeli district center under the Tashkent City Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, as well as a team of environmentalists from UzAutoMotors. A tour of the enterprise was organized for the guests, and in response to the invitation, the guests expressed gratitude to the management for the opportunity to share their experience in the field of environmental protection.
