On February 14, students of the 7th grade of the 353rd school, located in the Kukhna Kumarik mahalla next to the UzAutoMotors Powertrain (UMPT) plant, visited the plant as part of the "Drive for Dreams" program. This initiative aims to raise awareness among schoolchildren about the automotive industry and the technical professions that can become their future. During the visit, the students underwent a unique training conducted by the plant's cross-functional team. HR department experts, environmentalists, engineers and chemists told the guys about the main processes of the enterprise. Special attention was paid to important aspects of environmental protection and innovative technologies. An unusual and memorable event for children was an interactive training on waste sorting conducted by Ozoda Sharustamova, manager of the Environmental Protection Department. The plant's chemists also demonstrated fascinating experiments in water purification, which aroused great interest among the children. At the end of the tour of the assembly shop, the children received certificates and gifts, and also learned more about how work is organized in modern automotive production. Our goal is to inspire young people to learn technical professions and show how interesting and important it is to work in such a dynamic industry as the automotive industry!
