On May 22, the International Day of Biological Diversity is celebrated worldwide, an important date designed to draw attention to the problem of the disappearance of representatives of flora and fauna. This Day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1995 based on the recommendation of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, which was held in 1994.
UMPT Company is actively developing and implementing several projects in the field of biodiversity protection: Landscape of local tree varieties, protection of birds, attraction of pollinators. Special attention is paid to attracting pollinators, which is extremely important for maintaining the ecosystem and ensuring plant fertility.
This year, in honor of the International Day of Biological Diversity, an event was organized with
with the participation of our volunteer staff. Bright and attractive flowers were planted in the pollinator garden: zinnias, gazanias, marigolds and rayhon. These plants will not only decorate the territory, but will also help attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators that play a key role in maintaining the balance of nature.
Our staff enthusiastically joined in the process: they not only planted flowers, but also enjoyed their time.
in the fresh air, we discussed the ideas of new initiatives. We thank each participant and are proud to continue to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity — for ourselves, our children and the future of the planet.
