UzAuto Motors Powertrain JSC (hereinafter UMPT), part of Uzavtosanoat JSC, has established the export of 1.2l. LIH cylinder blocks for CSS Prime family engines to the GM assembly line in Ramos, Mexico. The company has signed a contract to export 20,000 units of blocks to the GM conveyor line by the end of February, 2025.

On December 2, 2024, the ceremony of sending the first 108 test engine blocks took place. Recall that in November 2024, UMPT completed the development of the 3rd (final) stage of the investment project for the localization of 1.2l CSS Prime engines, including assembly, machining and casting of the cylinder block under high pressure with a total cost of 160 million rubles.
