Starting from December 2024, UzAuto Motors Powertrain has begun exporting CSS Prime cylinder blocks to Latin America. The total delivery volume amounts to 40,000 units, with a total value of 4.9 million USD.

This achievement became possible after the company significantly expanded its production capacities in 2022. During that period, the CSS Prime assembly line was launched, specializing in the production of modern 1.2-liter naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines based on General Motors technology, intended for Chevrolet Onix and Chevrolet Tracker models. The products fully meet modern requirements for economic efficiency, performance, and reliability.

Such accomplishments are the result of systematic development of production technologies and ongoing investments. Mass production of 1.2L and 1.5L second-generation B-DOHC gasoline engines by UzAuto Motors Powertrain began in July 2012. Today, these power units offer an optimal balance between power and fuel efficiency, and are installed in Chevrolet Cobalt vehicles (previously also in Spark, Nexia 3, and Gentra models).

Continuous technological updates play a crucial role in UzAuto Motors Powertrain’s high performance. The company has implemented an HPDC high-pressure die-casting line, which enables the production of highly precise cast parts for CSS Prime cylinder blocks. For cylinder heads, gravity casting technology is used, ensuring their strength and durability. All mechanical processing stages are performed on CNC (computer numerical control) machines, guaranteeing high precision and compliance with international standards.

It is worth noting that UzAuto Motors Powertrain is a unique industrial center in the region. Today, it is the only plant in Central Asia with a full-cycle engine production process — from aluminum casting to mechanical processing and final assembly. This approach significantly reduces logistics costs and allows production costs to remain 10–20% lower compared to similar enterprises in other countries.

As a result, UzAuto Motors Powertrain products successfully compete in international markets and fully comply with global standards. Moreover, the use of local labor and energy resources reduces dependence on external factors and contributes to the sustainable development of the economy.
