On June 5, 2025, an educational seminar on Waste management was held at UMPT as part of a series of events dedicated to World Environment Day. The event was hosted by Jamshid Khakimov, an employee of the Ecology Department, an environmental protection specialist in the field of waste management, who shared valuable knowledge and experience.

The main purpose of the seminar was not only to inform employees about the plant's waste management system and recycling/recycling organization, but also to get acquainted with the world's best practices in the field of waste recycling. Special attention was paid to discussing topical issues related to the possibilities of recycling plastic waste.

The event was held in an atmosphere of lively dialogue and mutual enrichment of knowledge. In addition, to maintain interest and consolidate the information received, an exciting quiz was organized, during which the most active participants received memorable prizes.
