Business in Detail: Department of Building and Facility Maintenance

As part of the “Business in Detail” program, a session was held on September 23 with Makhmud Veliev, Head of the FO Department, dedicated to the work of the Department of Building and Engineering Infrastructure Maintenance.

The discussion covered the team’s key tasks and functions: technical maintenance of buildings, ensuring the reliable operation of engineering infrastructure, and maintaining the plant’s energy security. Modern approaches to resource efficiency were also presented, including monitoring electricity, heat, and water consumption, as well as the installation of solar panels.

Nozima Kholbutaeva, Head of the Chemistry Department, demonstrated how wastewater treatment is carried out using advanced technologies.

The activities of the FO Department are not merely “support” functions — they represent a strategically important system that directly impacts the reliability and sustainability of the business.
