Don't Trust Scammers — Don't Regret It Later!
Theme of 2026:
“Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism”
In recent years, international terrorist organizations have been using new methods of raising funds to achieve their subversive and destructive objectives.
Exploiting our people's traditional values of compassion and generosity, they spread various fundraising appeals through social media under the guise of providing financial assistance to Muslims suffering in conflict zones abroad, including the Gaza Strip, as well as to women and children with disabilities living in other countries. Under the cover of charity, such organizations collect money for their own interests.
Unfortunately, some of our citizens, without fully understanding the consequences and being influenced by the videos and photographs contained in such appeals, transfer money to the bank cards indicated in the advertisements, hoping to help those in need and perform a good deed.
However, investigations show that the funds transferred to the payment cards specified in these appeals are not used to purchase medicines, food, or clothing for needy women and children. On the contrary, these funds end up in the hands of terrorists whose actions lead to the deaths of innocent people.
Dear colleagues, while striving to do a good deed, do not unknowingly provide support to terrorist organizations.
Furthermore, under no circumstances should you agree if strangers ask you to open a bank card, cryptocurrency wallet, or any other account in your name. Such accounts may be used by malicious individuals to collect funds for illegal purposes.
Remember: any form of support for terrorist activities, including transferring funds or providing services, is considered financing of terrorism and may result in criminal liability, including imprisonment for up to 15 years.
Vigilance and awareness are the demands of our time. Preserving peace and stability in society, combating all forms of threats, crime, and extremist ideologies, and preventing indifference are among our most important responsibilities. This is not only the duty of state institutions but also the responsibility of every citizen in daily life.
