On May 30, 2026, a celebratory event dedicated to the international technology competition Technovation Girls Uzbekistan 2026 was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Tashkent. This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Technovation Girls program in Uzbekistan.

As part of the competition, 143 teams from Tashkent and various regions of Uzbekistan presented social mobile application projects aimed at addressing community challenges.

Employees of UzAuto Motors Powertrain also took part in the event. The company’s environmental team presented gifts on behalf of the company to participants who won in the “Environment and Climate Change” category. In addition, Elmira Sharipova, Environmental Engineer at UzAuto Motors Powertrain, joined representatives of UNFPA and the World Bank during the award ceremony, where she shared her impressions of the Technovation Girls project in Uzbekistan and congratulated all participants, mentors, and program organizers.

The coordinators of Technovation Girls Uzbekistan expressed their gratitude to the management of UzAuto Motors Powertrain for its long-standing cooperation and support of the initiative. UMPT has been one of the program’s partners in Uzbekistan since 2017, contributing to the development of young female talent and innovation in the country.
