UzAuto Motors Powertrain marked World Wildlife Day — a day that annually reminds us of the importance of preserving biodiversity and treating natural resources with care. This year, the theme of the celebration focused on medicinal and aromatic plants as a source of health, cultural heritage, and sustainable livelihoods.

In honor of this day, UMPT held a seminar titled “Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.” The speaker was Durdona Fakhriddinova, a specialist from the Botanical garden of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who specializes in medicinal plants and researches the introduction and bio-ecological characteristics of promising species.
Participants learned about the importance of medicinal plants for human health, their role in ecosystems, and the need to preserve them.

The initiative continued with the planting of lavender, calendula, and marigolds in the pollinator garden. These new plants will create a favorable environment for bees and other pollinators, support biodiversity, and fill the space with natural fragrance.
