The event, dedicated to December 9 — International Anti-Corruption Day, was attended by M. Rasulov, a representative of the Anti-Corruption Agency, S. Gulyamov, General Director of UzAuto Motors Powertrain JSC, mahalla representatives, and the company’s workforce.

Speaking at the event, General Director S. Gulyamov emphasized that preventing corruption is one of the priority areas of state policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan. He noted that the legal foundations for combating corruption are defined in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Combating Corruption,” and provided information about the anti-corruption efforts being implemented at the enterprise.

Head of the Compliance Service of UzAuto Motors Powertrain JSC, A. Odilov, highlighted the importance of extensive education and awareness-raising among employees of state bodies and institutions to build an anti-corruption mindset. He emphasized that raising a new generation equipped with a “vaccine of integrity” and fostering intolerance toward corruption among youth is essential for long-term progress.

In his speech, Anti-Corruption Agency representative M. Rasulov noted that the Development Strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan outlines the task of improving organizational and legal mechanisms for combating corruption and increasing the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures. He stressed that the adoption of the Law “On Combating Corruption” is a major step toward creating an environment of zero tolerance toward individuals who violate the rights, property, and well-being of citizens.

Additionally, during the discussion, employees of UzAuto Motors Powertrain JSC received detailed explanations regarding ongoing anti-corruption initiatives in Uzbekistan, as well as mechanisms being developed based on international best practices.
