On October 20, 2025, a spiritual and educational event under the slogan “The Native Language – the Spirit of the Nation!” dedicated to the Day of the Uzbek Language, was held at UzAuto Motors Powertrain JSC.
The company’s management, responsible representatives of all industry departments, as well as employees of the enterprise, took part in the event.
After the General Director of UMPT, Saidazim Gulyamov, congratulated the participants and guests on the holiday, the official part of the ceremony began with the performance of the national anthem.
Speakers shared their thoughts on the ongoing practical efforts, the achievements made, and some of the existing challenges in developing our native language.

In particular, Farida Afruz, Deputy Chairwoman of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan and a well-known poetess, vividly illustrated in her speech that 36 years ago — on October 21, 1989 — granting the Uzbek language the status of a state language was not only one of the first steps toward the country’s independence, but also a historic milestone that, over the years, has strengthened the use of our native language and laid the foundation for its continued development.

During the event, poems glorifying our native language were recited, informational videos about the history and stages of development of the Uzbek language were shown, and cultural performances were presented.
